Business

You can create a business in one week

angelos-yoga-mat

You can have a business up and running by the end of this week.

You can build a business and start getting paid by the end of this week, Friday 29th of November 2019.

I’m serious!

It doesn’t have to take months or years.

There is a business inside you that’s dormant right now.

It’s waiting for you to flip the open/closed sign and tell everyone that you’re open.

People are waiting out there for you to open the doors, give them what they want so they pay you!

This week I mean. This month. Next month. In 2019 – not in 2020!

They are waiting to pay someone like you, but the problem is you’re closed!

You can open your business today, invite people to your business and get paid tomorrow.

People are waiting for you to open!

This is what happened today in my office.

I had a coaching session with someone in this group.

A wonderful, super-knowledgeable and super-kind guy who’s into massage, relaxation, breathing, meditation, mindfulness, and all this goodness.

What he wants is to do less of the massage and be able to operate online and help people with all skills while being mobile and flexible.

When we first met he thought he needed to figure out his niche, target audience, etc. There was too much thinking and little doing.

He wasn’t sure about how to get started, what to do, how to do it, whether it would work, etc. Thinking, thinking, thinking…

And I understand him totally because everyone is like that including me. I still overthink but I used to overthink a lot more!!!

… Until my coaches said: “OK, what do you want to do this week, who do you want to connect with this week, who can you help this week, what do you want to do THIS WEEK, TODAY, NOW”

They asked: “What do you want DO, not THINK”

Back to my wonderful friend.

I said to him: “Let’s do it now. You will do it now. For the next 15 min, I’m not your coach. I’m your client.

“I’m gonna shut up and do whatever you tell me to do. You teach me relaxation, breathing, whatever.

All I want is you to help me feel better, more relaxed, more energised.

I’m your client. I have paid you. We’re having a session now. Open your toolkit and deliver. Now.”

For 10 seconds, I could see the “Oops, what I’m supposed to do?” on his face.

But that lasted only 10 seconds.

Then, he started creating. He started painting!

His voice changed, his face changed, he lightened up!

“Inhale, hold for 1-2-3-4, exhale, hold for 1-2-3-4.”

“Lie on your back, put your hand on your belly, breathe, relax your shoulders, repeat!”

There was no more thinking going on in his head. He lost himself in the next 15 min. He lost himself in the service of another human being.

I loved it! He loved it!

He hadn’t rehearsed anything. He delivered 100%. It was amazing.

That was our coaching session. The best coaching session we’ve ever had!

I challenged him to invite 10 to experience what I did.

And he will.

I’m sure this guy can help people and because of that, he will get paid.

Do you think I was always like that? HA HA!

They did it to me that’s why I’m doing it to my people now every single day!

And it works! And amazing things happen! We have fun!

I love it when they call me “crazy”!

And they love it when they become “crazy”!

I’ve got a ton of stories like that one.

We did something similar with Sabrina last week. She will tell you about it soon.

We did it with Brittney a couple of weeks ago.

The best time is NOW!

If you are here in this group, you’ll be fine because I will always be here to remind you!

Because I want to achieve my vision. 🙂

100 people in 2020 creating the impossible!

With fierce loving,

Angelos

PS: Here I am, that was my first coaching session on a yoga mat! 🙂

Thank you, my friend. If you want, you can tell everyone here about yourself. Because they will want to have a breathing session with you!

🔥 Cold-call strategy??? 📞

Somebody asked me if I had a cold-call strategy.

Although I don’t cold call people, I spend most of my day being on a call with people.

And I believe that cold-calling can be as effective as any other way of getting clients provided that someone has a genuine intention to serve the person they call.

So this is my strategy:

1) Understand the person as much as you can before calling them

2) Call them
3) Tell them you might be able to help if they answered a couple of questions for you
4) Ask the questions
5) Listen carefully (Forget what you want and listen to what THEY want)
6) Ask deeper questions
7) Listen carefully again
8) Serve if you can
9) If you can’t help, tell them you appreciate the time they gave you and wish them good
10) Move to the next

16 Questions which will help you come up with a business idea

venn-diagrams-creating-a-business
Question: I want to build a business but WHAT business? 🤨
Here are 16 questions that will help you to come up with “something” that will give value to people’s lives and … money to you!
My advice is: Don’t start a business just to make money!

The money will not be enough to motivate you.

I failed ALL the times when I pursued an idea just for the money.

Do you know what motivates people? A purpose higher than themselves, appreciation from others, impact, something that matters, something that will stay, curiosity, genuine interest in a subject, the fun of the creation process!

Forget the “million bucks” ideas and slow down for a bit.

Make yourself a cup of tea. 🍵

Get a notebook and a pen and ask yourself: Can you think of …..
  1. Something you’re passionate about?
  2. Something that’s interesting to you?
  3. Something you want to explore more in your life?
  4. Something you want to learn more about even if you’re not an expert at?
  5. Something you’re curious about?
  6. Something you can help people with?
  7. Something you can teach people?
  8. Something that has made your life easier that could also make other people’s lives easier?
  9. Something that could make your life easier that could also make other people’s lives easier?
  10. Something, a thing that would be nice to have?
  11. Something you’ve found the solution to that you’re now ready to share with the world?
  12. Something you’re “dying” to solve for yourself first?
  13. Something that you find easy but others don’t?
  14. Something tough you went through that others are going through now?
  15. Something that’s worth pursuing no matter how impossible it might sound?
  16. Something that could change the world?
If you slow down and see what has worked for you in your life, you will come up with ideas.

The questions above will tap into your abundantly creative mind.

Don’t listen to others, don’t Google “passive income”. Start with paper and pen. Start with fresh, new thought!
And the most powerful question:

If you had a few people in a room and a few hours before you left this world forever, what would you teach them from your life and experiences? What would you like to leave behind for them?

I’m blessed to be coaching people like Yazan

I’m blessed to be coaching people like Yazan.

He launched his online business a few months ago and he just got his first big client. A dream client!

It took him 4 months to build a relationship with his client and get their trust.

We worked on building a serving mindset, on giving unconditional value, on forgetting ourselves and our wants while being professional.

Our work was a meditation into the world of Yazan’s client. This is what it was.

We came up with outside the box ideas! We turned every stone upside down to find solutions and we did!

Yazan forgot that he needed to get clients ASAP. We only focused on solving the riddle for his potential client.

Building a business becomes easy when you forget yourself and focus only on your client’s problem.

I remember Yazan coming back worried one day… “I don’t know what’s going on. She is not responsive any more.”

“Keep providing value”, I said. “She’s just busy with the wrong things. Bring her attention to what matters, to what she really needs to do for her business. You’re here to show her the way, to lead her.”

And this is what Yazan did. He took action. He owned the game.

And one day the dream client called Yazan and asked him: “When are we going to start then?”🎉🎉🎉

Success.

Exciting times. I’m just so proud of my people. So passionate about my people.

These are my lovely, brilliant and powerful people.

What is your role then, Angelos?

I’m there for them to remind them how brilliant they are.

I’m there for them to kill any self-limiting thoughts that may interrupt their creative work.

I’m just there for them.

And they can feel I’m there for them.

And they keep going.

And they get what they deserve.

To all the people who let me be there for them while they’re climbing their mountains,

Angelos ❤️

How to Approach Clients for your Business

I just got off the phone with a coaching client of mine who’s launching his own business.

He asked me: “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨?”.

He had been overthinking this question in his head.

Is it better to email them first and call them later? Or maybe visit them? How do you start the conversation? Is cold-calling still effective? Or cold-emailing is better? And what’s the best answer if the say x? And if they say y, what do you say next?

I asked my client a rhetorical question:

– Do you genuinely want to help your clients and serve them from your heart?

– Yes, I do.

– Then, you know very well how to approach them. You don’t need me to tell you. You just approach them. You say hello and you build a relationship with them. You offer a solution to their problem. You relax. You listen to them carefully and you serve them.

People who overthink the question “How do I approach clients?” usually do so because they’re in a war with their potential clients. It’s all about persuasion theory, selling, closing, and manipulation.

People who are in service mode, ie. in peace mode, approach their clients like a dove with an olive branch (an ancient symbol of peace).

A dove with an olive branch is on a mission to serve. It’s there to make the first step and give first.

It’s vulnerable, humble.

But also strong and confident because it’s bringing peace.

And if your potential clients are not ready yet to welcome the dove in their hands, they will always remember that you were a dove with an olive branch.

And if they didn’t see straight away that you were a dove,
you can fly back to them (follow-up, or reach out later)
as many times as you want as soon as you’re bringing an olive branch (value, service).

Head down for one year!

headdownforayear1

What if you worked on your dream every day for one year without lifting your head up to see if it’s working?

But how do I know I’m doing the right thing? Well, you know what the right thing is. You have a tremendously powerful intuition as to what the good and meaningful work is. And just because you don’t lift your head up every day to see a miracle, a miracle happens when you save that energy that otherwise would go wasted on expectation!

Expectation is friction!

Expectation is interruption!

Expectation is frustration!

Think about it. Imagine. Visualise it. One year creating. No looking up.

Every day being a win no matter what! Just you and your meaningful work. No expectation. What can you see? How does it feel?

Kindness and smiles,

Angelos

I’m learning from this man!

I’m learning from this man so much every single day working next to him.

He is the one who taught me what relationship means, not just in business, but in life.

The word relationship doesn’t need any adjectives next to it such as deep, strong, meaningful, etc. The word relationship is what it is.

I will not try to give any definition of the word relationship because any definition wouldn’t be enough to explain the word.

Let me give you a few examples instead.

A father or mother has a relationship with their son.

A business owner has a relationship with his client.

A coach has a relationship with the coachee.

It’s the same relationship.

What’s relationship for you?

Love, Angelos

Who gave you that dream job?

I got into investment banking when Sean N. MacGloin gave me that job right there at that square near Bank Station in the City of London.

During my last trip to London, I was passing nearby that place and thought to film a short video to express that gratitude.

When somebody gives you a job, they allow you to enter their world, to live life together! Yes, to live life together! This is how I see it.

I can’t describe how I felt by spending some time there at that square after 8 years.

Blessed and grateful for the past. Hopeful, optimistic, strong, excited about the future.

Because that’s the effect of gratitude. It bridges the past with the future! It fills your soul with serenity, optimism, motivation, strength and all the other good things that are necessary for moving forward.

Shall I keep hustling or not?

rockfeller

This guy’s net worth would be $660 bn in today’s money (yes, richer than Bezos).

I’m wondering then how “Keep Hustling” has got to become the new motto for success?

Anyone got an idea???

P.S. I’m not assessing this man’s ethics, how he made his fortune, etc. I’m only assessing his words per se.

P.P.S I don’t personally pair success with net worth but I mentioned net worth for those of you who do. I’m OK with that and I believe people use their money for different purposes.

You’re only two words to success! – “What if”

How many times do you have this internal conversation with yourself?

It’s not gonna work…
Let’s try this for the beginning…
They will not answer…
They will not even look at my application…
I should start small, then target those…
I’m not there yet…

WHAT IF it works?

WHAT IF they answer?

WHAT IF you start big?

WHAT IF you’re there already???

Don’t land yourself down! Let life land you instead if that’s your destiny!

You just keep whatif-ing!

One by Tim Ferriss: It’s lonely at the top. Ninety-nine per cent of people in the world are convinced they are incapable of achieving great things, so they aim for the mediocre. The level of competition is thus fiercest for ‘realistic’ goals, paradoxically making them the most time and energy-consuming.

Everybody is after the small fish and the big fish are feeling lonely because no one is ready yet to catch them!! #lonelybigfish #poorbigfish 🙂
